Job summary

Chroma Early Learning Academy in Georgia seeks an Assistant Childcare Teacher to support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing environment for young children. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to Pass a Background Check.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to meet all requirements under Georgia's Bright from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.
• Passion for early childhood education and the social-emotional well-being of young children.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
• Preferred: Teaching/childcare 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes sensory exploration, early communication, and gross motor development.
• Observe and document developmental milestones and communicate regularly with families.
• Follow all licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation.
• Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training required for Quality Rated compliance.
