Job summary

Chroma Early Learning Academy is seeking an Assistant Childcare Teacher to support lead teachers and help create a safe, nurturing classroom for young learners. You will assist with lesson prep, maintain a clean space, monitor behavior, and communicate with families about child development.

Qualifications

• Ability to Pass a Background Check.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in the day-to-day care of the children in the classroom.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment aligned with Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated standards.
• Support the implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes sensory exploration, early communication, and gross motor development.
• Observe and document developmental milestones and communicate regularly with families.
• Follow all licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation.
• Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training required for Quality Rated compliance.

What You'll Do

Requirements
