Job summary

Child Prodigy East is seeking a full-time Assistant/Floater Teacher to support our Infant and Toddler classrooms. Shift: Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm. Compensation: $16-18/hour based on education and experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support infant and toddler classrooms as needed.
• Cover breaks and fill in for staff when absent.
• Demonstrate patience and positive interactions with children, parents, and staff.
• Work as a team with the lead teacher and director.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!

Shift: Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Willingness to support the center as needed. This includes covering staff members' breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming the classroom duties of staff members.
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.
• Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the director of the lead teacher.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
