Job summary

Child Prodigy East is a licensed childcare center in Lincoln, NE, seeking a Full-time Assistant/Floater Teacher to support Infant and Toddler classrooms, Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm, with compensation $16-18/hour.

Child Prodigy East is a licensed childcare center seeking Full-time Assistant/Floater Teachers to support our Infant and Toddler classrooms!

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!

Shift: Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm

Compensation: $16-18/hour based on education and experience.

Main Job Responsibilities

• Willingness to support the center as needed. This includes covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming the classroom duties of staff members.
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.
• Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the director of the lead teacher.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
