HorseShoe Beverage Company is seeking Assistant Teachers to support our nine centers across Indianapolis. Join a team dedicated to stimulating development and a welcoming environment for children.

You will work with lead teachers to deliver play-based lessons, maintain safety and cleanliness, communicate with families, and help with licensing and accreditation requirements. This full-time, non-exempt role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Passion for early childhood education.
• Willing to adapt to center needs and schedules.
• Able to build relationships with children and adults.
• Experience in childcare preferred.

Responsabilités

• Encourage children by preparing and managing an engaging environment that fosters their independence and self-selection of learning activities.
• Work cooperatively with the teachers to implement our play based curriculum.
• Establish warm and responsive relationships that allow each child to feel recognized, acknowledged and secure.
• Maintain a healthy, safe and clean environment for children and team members.
• Develop trusted relationships with families by communicating on a regular and ongoing basis to relay information about each child's day.
• Support the teacher in noticing and documenting child development observations.
• Ensure all state licensing rules and regulations are adhered to, including those for NAEYC accreditation, Paths to QUALITY™, CACFP and Indiana child care center licensing.

Positions are available across all Day Early Learning centers in Indianapolis (Downtown, Midtown, Park 100, Lawrence, and Eastside).

Our Assistant Teachers (internally known as Classroom Support Professionals) support our mission by collaborating with teachers in implementing lessons designed to stimulate developmental growth and fostering a welcoming environment so children can thrive.

What will I do?

Our centers are open year round Monday-Friday. Full-time positions are nine hours shifts with a one hour lunch break. Part-Time positions can offer more flexible scheduling.
