Job summary

Learning Care in Rochester, NY seeks Assistant Teachers who are passionate about caring for children and supporting families. You will help maintain a fun, interactive classroom and follow all licensing guidelines to ensure daily safety and learning.

You will develop observation and communication skills, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to a respectful, nurturing environment that values teamwork and growth for every child.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors with children.
• Willingness to complete extensive training on childcare topics.

Assistant Teachers:

• Love to help! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Love to engage! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Love to learn! Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

We want energetic, dependable individuals, with a passion for working with children, who have:

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $18.13-$18.83 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
