The Goddard School located in Chester Springs, PA is seeking a motivated Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher, create engaging programs, manage the classroom, and ensure a safe, stimulating environment. Bring energy, enthusiasm and creativity to our collaborative team.

You will help implement lesson plans, support children's development, prepare materials, and communicate with families about progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children
• Works productively without supervision
• Basic understanding of child development
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs in handling children
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements

• Support children’s development through active engagement and positive interactions
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean learning environment
• Supervise and provide individualized support and foster belonging

• Support daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment
