Job Description: Helps to care for children and infants from six weeks to eight years, addressing their physical, emotional, and educational needs while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Interact positively with children at all times.
  2. Assist Teacher I in planning, implementing, and evaluating daily activities for children in their assigned group.
  3. Create and maintain a physical environment that promotes positive development.
  4. Direct classroom activities in the absence of the Teacher I.
  5. Keep appropriate records.
  6. Maintain health and safety of children and environment.
  7. Participate in ongoing professional development.
  8. Respond professionally to all situations.
Required Qualifications
  1. One (1) year experience in a structured program with children or a certification in Early Childhood Care and Education.
  2. Knowledge of child development/management techniques, appropriate activities, and related care regulations. Willing to obtain additional training regularly.
  3. Energetic with a genuine interest in and enjoyment of children.
  4. Good written and oral communication skills.
  5. Certification in CPR and First Aid.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. College courses or vocational training in early childhood education.
