Our Montessori school has been proudly serving our community for many years. With trained, dedicated educators (some with decades of experience), we provide an authentic Montessori experience in an early education setting. With mixed-age classrooms and carefully curated Montessori materials, we embrace the authentic Montessori Method, guiding young learners toward becoming innovative thinkers, good citizens, and capable leaders.

Classroom Community and Role:

Every classroom is a community with a team of educators collaborating to provide an authentic experience to the children. The Assistant Teacher supports the Montessori Guide or Lead Teacher in all classroom areas.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Teacher:

1. Always caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
2. Always inspiring! Work with a Montessori Guide or Lead Teacher to facilitate fun and interactive learning experiences in an authentic Montessori classroom.
3. Always engaged! Develop your ability to observe, assess, and plan activities for children, and communicate effectively with families under the guidance of your lead teacher/guide.
4. Always learning! Complete extensive training that provides insights on child care and development topics.

Qualifications:

We seek joyful, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:

• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field.
• Completed a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.
• Montessori training, certification, or experience preferred.
