Macalester College seeks an Assistant Swimming & Diving Coach to support the leadership and direction of all phases of a successful and competitive NCAA Division III swimming and diving program. This position assists with team practices, competitions, recruiting, event management, and student-athlete development, and also assists with coaching Macalester’s Masters swimming program. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented environment that supports the athletic, academic, and personal development of student-athletes. This is a 12-month position with approximately 3–15 hours per week depending on the season; evening and weekend hours are required.
About the Department: Macalester College Athletics is committed to providing an excellent student‑athlete experience within a highly selective liberal arts college. The swimming and diving program emphasizes competitive excellence, academic achievement, personal growth, inclusion, and the holistic wellbeing of its student‑athletes. The Assistant Swimming & Diving Coach will work collaboratively with the Head Coach and coaching staff to support the continued success and development of the program.
