Qualifications

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities include helping Swim Team members improve their swimming in our state-of-the-art pools, both indoors and outdoors. You will collaborate with the Head Swim Team Coach to design and lead Swim Team Group Workouts, assist in registering new participants, and maintain the cleanliness of our Aquatics Facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Offer competitive swimmers opportunities to master their technique.
• Conduct daily practices under the guidance of the head coach.
• Promote all Life Time products, services, and programs.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of swim coaching experience.
• Membership in ASCA.
• Membership in USA Swimming.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire.
• Complete all job-specific requirements with Life Time Education.
• Ability to work stationary and move about the club for prolonged periods.
• Effective communication skills with guests regarding Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters nonstop.
• Ability to routinely bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally lift more than 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher.
