Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital seeks an experienced food service supervisor to oversee multiple retail dining areas and lead the daily operation of the department. You will supervise staff, participate in projects, and ensure service aligns with the hospital's mission and values.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma with three years of experience; a Certified Dietary Manager certificate is preferred, with Serve Safe or NIFI certification and computer skills recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with three years of experience.
• Certified Dietary Manager certificate or higher preferred.
• Serve Safe or NIFI certification required or preferred; computer skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee retail areas such as Lake View Cafe, Terrace Bistro, Fountain Cafe, Corner Gourmet and Dr Lounge.
• Supervise and instruct employees in daily department operation and participate in projects.
• Promote teamwork within the healthcare team and align with mission and values.

Overseeretail areas including Lake View Cafe, Terrace Bistro, Fountain Cafe, Corner Gourmet and Dr Lounge. Supervises and instructs employees in the daily operation of the department,participatesin special projects and in areas of expertise; follows the guidelines formaintaininga quality food service.Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education:High school graduate with threeyears experiencerequired Certified Dietary Manager Certificate,Associate degree or Bachelor'sdegree preferred
