Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is seeking a dedicated warehouse professional to support operations at our Tampa park. You will supervise storage, handle merchandise, and mentor ambassadors while ensuring safety and accuracy in stock handling.

The role requires physical readiness and strong communication with teams and guests. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, CPR/ServSafe training, and the ability to obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain company driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office apps.
• Able to obtain SeaWorld forklift certification and Class D license.
• Comfort with handling all food types and allergens.
• Ability to complete CPR training/certification.
• ServSafe Food Manager certification test required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to climb ladders up to 12 feet.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to push/pull 300 lbs with assistance.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work varying shifts including openings/closings.
• Leadership and warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for ambassadors, guests, and animals.
• Develop ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching.
• Maintain flow of goods between warehouse, internal staff and external clientele.
• Receive, check-in, price mark, store and transport resale merchandise and supplies.
• Record and dispose of non-salable merchandise.
• Maintain accurate temperature logs.
• Provide front-line leadership support on policies, personnel, security and safety.
• Recommend policy/procedure improvements for the area.
• Take accurate stock counts to balance flow of goods.
• Minimize loss of company property due to damage or theft.
• Assist with maintaining warehouse cleanliness and thorough cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Make a continuing and diligent effort to minimize the loss of company property and/or merchandise due to internal or external damage or theft
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of warehouse, to include extensive detail cleaning
• Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:

• At least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
• A working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Able to obtain SeaWorld forklift certification and Class D driver’s license
• Comfortable and able to work with all food types, including food allergens in any dining facility
• Able to complete and pass provided CPR training/certification
• Contingent in the successful completion of the ServSafe Food Manager certification test
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment
