Job summary

MARSHALLTOWN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for second shift to lead the department, coordinate daily operations, and ensure safe, efficient processing of orders in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience, proficiency with MRP systems, and the ability to train and cross-train staff while maintaining strong safety practices across shifts. PIT certification is preferred, and excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications: KEY COMPETENCIES:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Two + years of demonstrated supervisory, leadership, training, and coaching experience, preferred.
• Experience with MRP systems
• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities with frequent interruptions
• Successful completion of a Powered Industrial Truck driving test and the material handler written exam
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills to all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete floors
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb, and twist as needed to perform receiving and material-handling tasks
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs regularly
• Must be able to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), including mounting/dismounting repeatedly
• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment with variable temperatures, noise levels, and frequent movement of material-handling equipment
• Must be able to visually inspect incoming materials and read paperwork, labels, and screens on inventory systems
