Job summary

MARSHALLTOWN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for second shift to lead the department, coordinate daily operations, and ensure safe, efficient processing of orders in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience, proficiency with MRP systems, and the ability to train and cross-train staff while maintaining strong safety practices across shifts. PIT certification is preferred, and excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of supervisory, leadership, training, and coaching experience.
• Experience with MRP systems.
• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe environment for all employees and ensuring everyone is working safely.
• Addressing safety concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Assists the Supervisor with the overall direction, coordination, and daily operation of the Maintenance department across second shift.
• Staging work to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective processing of orders.
• Identifying ways to improve work methods and implementing those changes.
• Ensuring work areas are well-organized, tools and fixtures are working properly, and areas are free of safety hazards.
• Training and cross-training both new and existing employees.
• Understanding and applying company policies consistently.
• Performing quality assurance checks throughout the department.
• Other duties and project work as assigned.
