Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise Transportation Officers regarding operations and compliance.
• Ensure safety and security for staff and inmates/detainees.
• Mentor and coach staff, keeping management informed of issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 1 year of experience in Corrections, Military Police, Police, or Inmate/Detainee Transportation.
• Superior interpersonal abilities, ability to interact tactfully with diverse personalities, display maturity, and practice flexibility.
• Preferred: Valid Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake and passenger endorsements.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
• Preferred: Supervisor or Management experience in Corrections or Transportation.

Essential Functions:

1. Supervise and monitor Transportation Officers regarding transportation operations, safety, security, customer service, and compliance.
2. Communicate and support the vision of TransCor America, LLC.
3. Ensure safe and orderly operation of the Field Office, promoting safety and security for staff and inmates/detainees.
4. Assist in scheduling and planning trip activities.
5. Follow operational policies, procedures, and emergency plans in compliance with laws and company policies.
6. Communicate responsibilities and motivate staff to perform duties effectively.
7. Maintain equipment and conduct necessary maintenance.
8. Participate in staff meetings and promote effective communication.
9. Mentor and coach staff, and keep management informed of operational issues.
10. Read, analyze, and interpret various documents and regulations.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Training Requirements:

• Orientation and annual re-certification as per company policy.
• Additional training as necessary.
