Job summary

Embark in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking an Assistant Supervisor to join our residential treatment team for young adults 18-25. You will support daily routines, safety, and skill-building in a hands-on leadership role. This on-site position offers $22.00 per hour, a Wednesday–Friday 2pm–10:30pm and Saturday 9am–10:30pm schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package.

A.A. in Psychology/Sociology or 2 years’ youth experience is preferred; a valid CA driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• A.A. in Psychology/Sociology/Related degree (preferred) OR 2 years experience working with youth.
• Interested in working with young adults 18-25 in a residential capacity.
• Ability and willingness to demonstrate empathy and concern with a high risk population.
• CA Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass TB test.
• Willing to become CPR/First Aid Certified and get flu shot.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, safety, and supervision of participants while supporting their daily routines, personal care, and social‑emotional growth.
• Provide mentoring, promote independent living skills, and build strong therapeutic relationships.
• Support medication administration and documentation per protocol, including knowledge of controlled substances and drug testing procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment, participating in housekeeping and facility readiness for visits/tours.
• Assist with training new hires, addressing staff concerns, and supporting treatment plans through collaboration with the clinical team.
• Manage documentation, behavioral interventions, crisis de‑escalation, and transportation logistics as needed.
