Job summary

Pebble Beach Company seeks an Assistant Superintendent at Del Monte Golf Course to assist in managing all aspects of golf course maintenance operations. The role requires coordinating greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and facilities while ensuring safety and EPA/OSHA compliance.

The candidate should have a turf degree in agronomy or related field and be proficient with irrigation scheduling, equipment operation, and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Supervision of department employees and training responsibilities.
• Knowledge of turf management, agronomy, and fertilizer application.
• Ability to plan and supervise maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs and participates in maintenance and construction of golf course under supervision of superintendent.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and supervising maintenance activities across greens, tees, fairways, and related facilities.
• Ensure safety procedures compliance with county, EPA and OSHA standards.
• Review timecards and payroll records for staff.
• Operate and supervise use of golf course equipment and irrigation systems.
