Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate on-site activities with Ryan employees, subcontractors and project management to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

You will administer safety policies, manage subcontractors, read blueprints, track CPM schedules, monitor budgets for your scope, and ensure quality control while working independently in Milwaukee, WI, within a full-time role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and subsequent random and post-accident drug and alcohol testing.
  • Successful completion of union-required training programs, or equivalent.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid documentation.
  • Show leadership skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions.
  • Must be able to remain calm during stressful situations and work through any challenges or issues that may arise.
  • Must be able to know when to ask for help when a job task exceeds their skills or abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with material procurement.
  • Work efficiently and independently.
  • Enforce site specific Project Safety Manual.
  • Engage in Quality Control practices.

Compensation:

The base pay range is $85,000 - $108,000 per year. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
