Job summary

MPI is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support day-to-day site operations on large Southeast commercial projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor safety and quality, and help track progress against schedules.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree and show strong communication, with the ability to travel across the Southeast region. ESOP participation and career growth are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Early-career construction professional with strong career progression and stable employment history.
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects valued at $50M+ preferred.
• Exposure to multifamily, student housing, senior living, hospitality, mixed-use, or similar commercial projects.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel and work on project assignments throughout the Southeast region.
• Solid understanding of construction scheduling, safety, and quality control processes.
• Proficiency with construction management technology and project documentation software
