Job summary

MPI is seeking a Southeast Traveling Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale light industrial construction projects across the southeastern United States. You will manage timelines, budgets, and field operations while coordinating with clients, project managers, and subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a proven ability to drive safety, quality, and momentum on multiple sites.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing construction projects in the business services industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and construction best practices.
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple projects and ensure quality standards.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the southeastern United States.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee construction projects across the southeastern United States, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on all job sites.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Resolve on-site challenges and provide solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on project status, progress, and any issues encountered.
  • Lead and mentor on-site teams to foster a productive and efficient work environment.
