Job summary

MPI is seeking a Superintendent for lead day-to-day field operations on ground-up commercial projects across the Southeast, with a preference for candidates based in Georgia. You will manage project schedules, coordinate subcontractors and inspectors, enforce safety standards, conduct quality control, and drive projects from mobilization through turnover.

A background in retail, hospitality, multifamily, or related commercial work, strong leadership, and the ability to travel regionally are

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects.
• History of leading projects from start to finish with full ownership.
• Experience managing field teams, subcontractors, and schedules.
• Background in retail, hospitality, multifamily, or similar commercial projects.
• Ability to clearly articulate project structure, team hierarchy, and responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety, quality, and scheduling practices.
• Experience using construction management software and scheduling tools.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast region; Georgia-based preferred.

The Successful Applicant

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects
• Demonstrated history of leading projects from start to finish with full project ownership
• Experience managing field teams, subcontractors, and project schedules
• Background in retail, convenience store, banking, medical office, hospitality, multifamily, or similar commercial projects
• Ability to clearly articulate project structure, team hierarchy, and individual project responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of construction safety, quality, and scheduling best practices
• Experience using construction management software and scheduling tools
• Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast region as projects require
• Currently based in Georgia preferred
