Job summary

The Wesson Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent – Renewable Energy to lead field operations on utility-scale solar and wind projects across New York. You will work with the Construction Manager, General Superintendent and Foreman to keep crews safe, on schedule and aligned with the Health and Safety Plan.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project engineers, managing materials, completing timesheets, contributing to QA/QC, and ensuring daily reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of utility-scale solar or wind energy project experience.
• Strong communication with all levels; relation with owners and vendors.
• Detail-oriented with ability to analyze plans, material deliveries, and productivity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel throughout New York State.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure compliance with TWG Health and Safety Plan.
• Coordinate with Construction Manager, General Superintendent and Foreman on work plans.
• Communicate crew material needs to project engineers for timely delivery.
• Prepare daily POD reports and monitor production progress.
• Support QA/QC processes and third-party inspection submissions.
