Job summary

Leoforce is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our South Florida team. You will support the Superintendent in managing home construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

The role requires at least 5 years in the construction industry, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and knowledge of OSHA guidelines. A construction management degree is preferred. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Proven ability to solve problems in fast-paced environments.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction procedures, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing all functions of the job site.
• Ensure projects are on time, within budget, and meet specs.
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
• Maintain a safe work site per OSHA and regulations.
• Monitor installation and start-up of mechanical systems and coordinate inspections.
• Assist in problem solving and document significant decisions.
• Maintain daily site log.
• Participate in project handover to client.
