Job summary

Confidential in Southwest Florida is seeking an experienced Construction Manager/ Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on multiple high-end custom homes. You will direct subcontractors, maintain schedules, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate with project managers and clients to deliver luxury residences on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a superintendent or construction manager in residential construction.
• Experience with high-end custom homes.
• Knowledge of Florida Building Code and coastal construction practices.
• Ability to read and build to architectural and structural drawings.
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors and manage multiple projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with mobile devices for daily logs and field documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage subcontractor work across multiple job sites.
• Oversee all on-site construction activity from site prep through final completion.
• Maintain the project schedule and ensure deadlines are met.
• Enforce quality standards and verify work matches drawings and specs.
• Schedule inspections and coordinate corrections.
• Ensure on-site safety, cleanliness, and orderliness.
• Approve subcontractor invoices upon completion.
• Maintain daily logs and site photos.
• Attend meetings and report field status to project managers.
• Walkthroughs with project managers and clients as needed.
• Complete punch lists and coordinate with the office for closeout.
• Use Buildertrend, Google Workspace and related tools.
• Adhere to safety, operations and regulatory policies.
