Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a hands-on Construction Coordinator in Kansas City to assist the on-site Superintendent across active projects, including ground-up, tenant improvements, and renovations. You’ll help coordinate subs and trades, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality control while keeping project teams well-informed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and professional representation of the company on site, with opportunities for growth and promotion over time.

Qualifications

• Must have practical understanding of construction processes, scheduling, safety, and QA on active sites.
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership and showing initiative.
• Experience delivering commercial projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day site operations on active construction projects.

Projects can be up to $20M but average projects stay within the $2M-$3M range. They're looking to grow over the next 5 years and want to bring in people they can train and quickly promote.

The Successful Applicant

• 1-2+ years of experience in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, safety, quality assurance, and site operations
• Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating initiative and ownership
• Experience delivering commercial projects
• Coachable and receptive to feedback
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
