Richard invites applications for an Assistant Superintendent in Battle Creek, MI. You will oversee daily field operations, supervise trades, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence across the project, reporting to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years' experience with a general contracting company.
• Understanding of construction materials, means, methods and building systems.
• Ability to develop, implement, and comprehend RFIs, change orders, schedules and logs.
• Clear communication to home office, Owner, Subcontractors and experience running owner meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day field operations.
• Coordinate with project team to maintain schedule, safety, budget and quality.
• Plan and organize work per contract documents.
• Monitor field productivity and maintain logs.
• Maintain customer relationships.
• Ensure timely and safe completion per budgets and safety goals.
• Coordinate with Safety Manager to meet safety goals.
