Job summary

Calusa Country Club in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Superintendent to manage all agronomic procedures for our 12-hole course and support the Director of Agronomy. You will lead a staff of 14, monitor budgets and equipment, supervise maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements while delivering a positive experience for members and guests.

You’ll bring a degree in agronomy or related field, 3–4 years of experience, and a pesticide license to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in agronomy, horticulture, or plant/soil science preferred.
• 3-4 years of related experience and/or training.
• Pesticide Application License required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all agronomic procedures for the 12-hole course.
• Report to the Director of Agronomy and work with staff and equipment managers.
• Supervise maintenance staff and assist in budgeting, planning, and construction activities.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and proper licensing for associates.
