A bit about us

Our client is a fully integrated real estate developer and general contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, and redevelopment projects. By bringing development and construction expertise together under one roof, this company takes an ownership-minded approach to every project, from early planning and preconstruction through construction and final closeout.

This company’s integrated model creates a collaborative environment where construction professionals work closely with development, design, estimating, project management, and other internal teams. The result is a more coordinated approach to managing quality, schedule, budget, constructability, and overall project performance.

The Assistant Superintendent will play an important role in the field execution of projects, supporting the Superintendent and project team in maintaining a safe, organized, high-quality jobsite while gaining exposure to the full development and construction lifecycle.

Why join us?
  • Work for an integrated developer and general contractor: Gain exposure to both sides of the real estate development process and understand how development decisions influence construction.
  • Build complex, high-quality projects: Work on distinctive multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, and redevelopment projects in dynamic markets.
  • Learn from experienced construction leaders: Partner closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, development professionals, subcontractors, architects, and consultants.
  • Take ownership: This company values an ownership mentality and encourages team members to proactively identify issues, communicate solutions, and take responsibility for project outcomes.
  • Collaborative culture: Work within a multidisciplinary organization where construction, development, design, and business teams collaborate rather than operate in silos.
  • Career development: Develop the technical, organizational, and leadership skills necessary to advance toward a Superintendent role and beyond.
  • Meaningful impact: Contribute to projects that enhance communities while creating long-term value for residents, owners, investors, and stakeholders.
Job Details

  • Ability to track project progress and communicate field conditions, schedule concerns, material needs, and potential issues to the project team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors, field personnel, project managers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
