LeoForce is seeking an Assistant Superintendent (Fully Integrated Developer) in Chicago, IL to support field operations on multifamily and commercial projects.

You will assist the Superintendent with overseeing subcontractors, coordinating on-site activities, reading drawings, tracking schedule, and ensuring quality and safety. This role provides exposure to the full development and construction lifecycle with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial, multifamily, residential construction environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Understanding of construction processes, sequencing, scheduling, and field operations.
  • Ability to assist with coordination and oversight of subcontractors, vendors, and onsite activities.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining a safe jobsite.

Job Details
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial, multifamily, residential, or other relevant construction environments; internships or co-op experience may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Familiarity with construction safety practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe jobsite.
  • Ability to track project progress and communicate field conditions, schedule concerns, material needs, and potential issues to the project team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors, field personnel, project managers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify potential issues before they become larger project challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and other construction documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction management/project management software.
  • Ability and willingness to work primarily onsite and travel to project locations as required.
