Job summary

G&E Partners is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the successful delivery of commercial and residential developments in the DMV region. You will help manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure projects are delivered

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting commercial or residential construction projects.
• Local to DMV region or willing to relocate.
• Experience assisting with day-to-day site operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, project schedules, RFIs, and submittals.
• Strong understanding of construction safety procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of site activities and field operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors and track progress against project schedules.
• Monitor safety, quality and compliance to ensure work aligns with plans and specs.
• Assist with maintaining budget and ensuring on-time project delivery.

G&E Partners is partnered with a leading general contractor that is actively expanding its project teams across the DMV region due to a strong and long-term project backlog.

They are delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects and are looking to bring on an Assistant Superintendent to support the successful delivery of these developments.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience on complex construction projects while working alongside experienced Superintendents and Project Teams.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience supporting commercial or residential construction projects with a general contractor.
• Local to the DMV region, or open to relocating.
• Experience assisting with day‑to‑day site operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality control.
• Exposure to commercial, multifamily, mixed‑use, residential or wood frame construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, project schedules, RFIs, and submittals.
• Strong understanding of construction safety procedures and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
