Frey Consulting Group is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent with 5+ years of field experience to lead projects in the Greater St. Louis area. You’ll join a highly respected self-performing contractor with long-tenured teams and strong mentorship.

Initially, local work for ~18 months with potential travel later; you’ll develop into independently running projects within a proven approach and learn from a highly experienced field leadership group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial construction field/superintendent role.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and schedules.
• Willingness to travel after local project.
• Based in or able to commute to Greater St. Louis area.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and ultimately own projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Manage day-to-day field operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, self-perform crews, and field personnel.
• Maintain and manage project schedules.
• Lead site meetings and coordinate with project management.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Proactively identify and resolve field challenges.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
• Build strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and project teams.

• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Concrete and/or structural steel experience is a plus
• Based in or able to commute throughout the Greater St. Louis area
• Open to potential travel after the initial approximately 18-month local project assignment
• Coachable mentality and willingness to learn an established and proven approach to running projects
