GH Engage is building the core and shell for a major data center project in North Alabama. We are hiring Assistant Superintendents to support a high-profile, ground-up development on a large footprint.

Ideal candidates have hands-on field leadership experience on commercial or industrial projects, with core/shell exposure and a safety-first mindset. This is an on-site, full-time role on a long-term project with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Superintendent (or Foreman ready to step up) on ground-up commercial or industrial projects.
• Hands-on exposure to core and shell scopes: concrete, structural steel, foundations, and envelope on large footprints.
• Comfortable coordinating subcontractors and reading drawings and schedules.
• Data center or mission-critical experience is a plus, but not required.
• Safety-first mindset and willingness to learn and take on more.

• Help manage daily/weekly schedule and feed the look-ahead to keep areas on track.
• Walk the work and perform QA/QC to ensure structures and enclosures are built right the first time.
• Enforce site safety standards and keep the jobsite clean and organized.
• Keep accurate daily logs, track progress, and flag issues early.

Assistant Superintendent - Data Center Core & Shell | North Alabama

A national general contractor is building the core and shell of a major new data center in North Alabama, and we're adding several Assistant Superintendents to the field team.

This is a ground-up, large-footprint project with serious scale. It's a great move for an up-and-coming superintendent who wants to build structure and envelope at volume and get mission-critical experience under their belt.

What you'll do

• Support the Lead Superintendent in running day-to-day field operations on your assigned areas or scopes


• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors on concrete (tilt-up and/or cast-in-place), structural steel, foundations, and envelope work


• Help manage the daily and weekly schedule, keeping your areas on track and feeding the look-ahead


• Walk the work and run QA/QC to make sure structural and enclosure scopes are built right the first time


• Enforce site safety standards and help keep the jobsite clean and organized


• Keep accurate daily logs, track progress, and flag issues early

What we're looking for
