Job summary

Zohorecruit is working with a confidential General Contractor in Mobile, AL to hire an experienced Structural Superintendent for a major data center project. This full-time, on-site role leads day-to-day field operations across the structural scope and collaborates with PMs, engineers and trade partners.

The position requires recent data center experience and a strong background in steel, concrete and foundations, with responsibility for safety, quality and sequencing on large-scale ground-up

Qualifications

• Recent data center or mission critical construction experience is essential.
• Strong General Contractor or Construction Manager background.
• Experience as a Structural Superintendent, Superintendent or General Superintendent.
• Strong experience with structural steel, concrete and foundations.
• Experience managing structural subcontractors and field crews.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination.
• Experience on large-scale ground-up construction projects.
• Strong safety, quality and field leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work full-time on site in the Mobile, Alabama area.

We are working confidentially with a General Contractor delivering a major data center project in the Mobile, Alabama area and are looking to appoint an experienced Structural Superintendent to join the site team.

This is a full-time, site-based position.

Recent data center construction experience is essential.

The Role

The Structural Superintendent will take ownership of day-to-day field operations across the structural scope, working closely with Project Managers, trade partners, engineers and the wider construction team.

• Managing structural construction activities across the project
• Overseeing structural steel, concrete, foundations and associated structural systems
• Coordinating structural subcontractors and field crews
• Driving daily site coordination, sequencing and short-term planning
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and field requirements
• Monitoring progress against the project schedule
