Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking a Traveling Superintendent for projects across the Southeast, traveling to multiple jobsites from Alabama. You will lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects meet safety, schedule, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in commercial ground-up construction, strong leadership, and readiness to travel. Retail experience is a plus and a per diem is offered.

Projects Across the Southeast | Travel Required (4-5 hours from Birmingham, Alabama)

We’re partnering with a leading commercial + industrial contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality retail and commercial projects across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Due to continued growth, they’re looking to bring on an experienced Traveling Superintendent with a strong background in ground-up commercial + industrial construction. This role will involve traveling to jobsites across the Southeast.

The Role

As Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for leading field operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. Working closely with Project Managers, you’ll coordinate subcontractors, maintain jobsite documentation, and represent the company with clients and inspectors.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys owning the build process on-site, leading teams, and delivering quality commercial projects from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
