Job summary

ATI (Advanced Technology International) in South Carolina seeks an Assistant Subcontracts Administrator (or Subcontracts Administrator I) to support contracts and procurement activities using standard templates and processes. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement (in-office and remote) with flexibility.

Candidates should reside near Charleston, SC and be able to travel; U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance may be required for certain projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or within 3 months of obtaining a degree; Associate's degree and two or more years related experience; or a High School diploma or equivalent with six or more years of related experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • US Citizenship required; ability to pass background checks and obtain DOD security clearance for certain projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Contracts and Procurement teams with the preparation of contractual documents using templates provided.
  • Assist in preparing RFIs, various subcontract agreements, teaming agreements, amendments, and other funding documents.
  • Provide support for cost and price analysis of proposals.
  • Coordinate with internal CP and Program teams to obtain required results.
  • Maintain subcontract and purchase order files and other contractual records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Description

Serves as a member of the Contracts team in direct support of company goals and objectives. Assists in the administration of subcontracts associated with the company programs, and effectively manages the related procurement of goods and services. Primary job duties require following documented processes with respect to administrative matters of the business.

Work schedule and location

We offer a hybrid schedule (in-office & remote/work from home) or an onsite schedule and flexible hours. Candidates will need to reside near Charleston, SC to ensure work site flexibility.

The grade, title and salary for this position will be determined once an assessment is completed on the selected candidates education, experience, and skills (level assigned will be as either an Assistant Subcontracts Administrator or Subcontracts Administrator I).

Essential Functions
  • Assists Contracts and Procurement teams with the preparation of contractual documents utilizing templates provided.
  • Assists in the preparation of requests for proposals, various types of subcontract agreements, teaming agreements, amendments, and other funding documents.
  • Provides support for cost and price analysis of proposals.
  • Coordinates and communicates with internal personnel both CP and Program teams to get required results.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintains subcontract and purchase order files, as well as other contractual records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, or within 3 months of obtaining a degree; Associate's degree and two or more years related experience; or a High School diploma or equivalent with six or more years of related experience
  • Computer skills, with an emphasis on the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, with co-workers and team members.
  • Experience working as a team member engaged in tasks requiring teamwork and performance to schedules.
  • Ability to serve internal customers and prioritize these responsibilities, to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel at company discretion.
  • Must successfully pass a background to access sensitive information and automated systems.
  • This position will need the ability to access US only data systems - US Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance (for certain projects/programs).
  • Must be a US Person by birth or naturalization.

Anticipated starting salary is in range commensurate with education and experience: $53,000 - $58,000
