Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist for a temporary position. You will engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. In the first three months you’ll be mentored by an Elite or Master Stylist, focusing on performance, guest service, and procedures.

From month four you’ll begin serving guests independently and learn additional skills. You will support beauty services, color, and product demonstrations, and stay informed on industry trends to enhance guest

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Ability to perform haircuts, color, styling, and makeup services.
• Aptitude to learn new techniques and product knowledge.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and help meet store goals for retail and services.
• Support mentor stylist to achieve sales and productivity targets.
• After month three, perform hair services (hair design, cuts, color, styling, treatments, updos, extensions, makeup).
• Demonstrate products to guests to drive sales and enhance the experience.
• Assist with in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
