Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. This temporary role trains toward a stylist position, under mentorship for the first 3 months.

You will build guest relationships, support sales and service goals, perform hair services after month three, participate in in-store events, and stay current on trends and products. Requirements include a cosmetology license and strong guest service, with flexibility to work

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to store goals related to retail and service sales.
• Support mentor Stylist in achieving sales and productivity targets.
• After month three, perform hair services including design, color, and styling.
• Demonstrate products to guests to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
• Assist with in-store events and promotions to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on trends and product benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt attendance and overall salon cleanliness.
