Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Stylist for a temporary position. You will engage with guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services, under mentorship for the first 3 months to build foundational skills and guest-focused service.

Starting month 4, you’ll begin servicing guests of your own, performing hair design, color, styling, and related services as you progress, while staying current on trends and store promotions to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.

Qualifications

• Passion for beauty industry and exceptional guest service.
• Willingness to learn additional technical skills and product knowledge.
• Mentored by Elite or Master Stylist for the first months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to store goals related to retail and service sales.
• Assist mentor Stylist with hair services and product recommendations (add-ons, shampoo/treatment, blowouts).
• After month three, perform hair services including design, color, texture, and makeup applications where applicable.
• Demonstrate products to guests to drive sales and enhance guest experience.
• Support in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives for an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed about trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
