Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care, and recommend services. This temporary role trains under Elite/Master Stylists, advancing to servicing guests in months 4–6 with emphasis on guest experience, sales, and skill growth.

Cosmetology-licensed candidates with strong communication and a passion for beauty are encouraged to apply. Flexible scheduling includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays; mentorship is provided.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license
• Understanding salon techniques across services and product knowledge
• Strong guest service mindset and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to store goals
• Assist mentor stylist with sales and productivity goals
• After month three, perform hair services and color applications
• Demonstrate products to drive sales and guest experience
• Support in-store events and promotions
• Stay informed on trends and maintain standards
