General Summary & Scope

The Assistant Stylist engages with guests, consulting on hair care needs and recommending products and services. This temporary position prepares talent for a stylist role, focusing on performance, guest service, and process adherence. Mentorship is provided initially, with increasing responsibilities over time.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Performance

• Deliver exceptional guest service and meet sales and loyalty goals.
• Support mentor Stylist in sales and productivity, including recommendations, services, and retail.
• Perform hair services after initial months, including cuts, color, treatments, styling, and more.
• Demonstrate products to enhance sales and guest experience.
• Assist in store events and stay informed on industry trends.
• Maintain prompt attendance.

People

• Develop guest relationships through consultations and recommendations.
• Serve guests efficiently under mentorship.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and retail team for a comprehensive guest experience.
• Build professional relationships with peers and brand partners.
• Promote the guest loyalty program and app.

Process

• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols.
• Adhere to service protocols for a consistent guest experience.
• Use booking systems to schedule guests and events.
• Communicate supply needs and maintain store standards.
