The University of New Mexico in Taos is seeking an Assistant Student Resource Navigator to support student engagement and access to campus resources. This on-site work-study role focuses on outreach, inventory, and helping students navigate benefits and services.

You will assist Thrive: Food and Resource Center locations, manage bulletin boards, post community flyers, and participate in campus events. A valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong computer/communication

Position Summary

• Support student engagement and activities that promote student success;
• Shop, stock, clean and inventory food and hygiene products for (both the Klauer campus and Rio Grande Hall) Thrive: Food and Resource Center and Safety Bins across campuses.
• Outreach to students (in person, via phone/email or social media) on the resources available to them;
• Understand and help students access resources on campus and in the community;
• Research and maintain a current UNMT Resource Guide;
• Host a table at events (campus and community based);
• Help students access benefits or other eligible services;
• Post flyers in the community and at Klauer and Rio Grande Hall. Maintain the bulletin boards in Padre Martinez Hall on Klauer campus;
• Keep records and communication confidential for all students and their relations;
• Answer phones and respond to emails when needed;
• Participate in meetings and other campus activities.
