Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in structural engineering preferred.
• Internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of standard structural engineering techniques and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills between team members.
• Proficient in structural analysis programs (RISA), AutoCAD, and BIM tools (Revit, Tekla).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• EIT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in structural design from concept through design completion.
• Modify and review production drawings for diverse facilities.
• Design structural components per project manager requirements.
• Apply basic structural engineering concepts and codes.
• Support data collection and project-related research.
• Update drawings with senior engineers and CAD software.
• Assist with client presentations, shop drawings, and contract admin.
• Perform field inspections, measurements, or calculations.
• Maintain compliance with policies and standards.
