Position Summary | The primary location of this position is the Cullowhee, NC campus. This position is designated as being exempt from the State of North Carolina Human Resources Act (EHRA). Primary responsibility is to oversee the strength and conditioning programs for baseball, men's and women's golf, and assist with football. Candidate must be knowledgeable, motivated and demonstrate a commitment to a safe, disciplined, and current weightlifting, speed and conditioning program to benefit intercollegiate student-athletes. Candidates must also possess strong administrative and communication skills. Must be willing and able to: Provide/contribute to a positive and energized training environment where student-athletes can grow and develop both physically and mentally. Be able to work well within a team setting displaying respect and courtesy and possess strong administrative and communication skills. Coach and manage safe and effective sports performance programs for assigned sports to compete at the highest collegiate levels. Travel with Baseball. Demonstrate knowledge and passion in the areas of athletic development relating to strength, power, speed, agility, weightlifting, energy system development, annual programming, nutrition, and injury prevention. Lead and mentor student-athletes. |
