UIW in San Antonio, Texas seeks an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach to develop strength programs for individual athletes and groups, aligning training with team needs and roles.
The position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director of Strength and Conditioning. A Bachelor's degree and at least one year of collegiate strength training experience are required; graduate assistant experience and CSCCa/NSCA certifications are preferred. Flexible hours and travel may be involved.
The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for working with individual athletes and groups to build appropriate strength and muscle sets specific to their role on their team. The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach reports to the Assistant Athletic Director of Strength and Conditioning.
Bachelor's Degree.
One (1) year of experience as a collegiate strength and conditioning trainer. Note that said experience at the graduate assistant level will be considered.
Must have a valid driver license, driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier, and be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW.
Business hours of Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm with flexibility; extended hours as required, including weekends, evenings and some holidays based on team schedule.
