Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking an Assistant Store Team Leader in Cincinnati to lead daily operations and deliver neighborly service to pets and their people. You will guide the store team, ensure safety and cleanliness, and promote an engaging shopping experience.

You’ll collaborate with leadership to maximize sales, train team members, and foster a welcoming, pet-centric environment. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading a retail team.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. High school diploma/GED required.
• Microsoft Office knowledge is a must, as well as good communication skills.
• Ability to operate all equipment, including a forklift, to run the store and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, have reliable transportation, and pass a drug test.

• Assisting in the operational management of the stores.

• Maintaining a fully staffed team and supporting recruiting/onboarding.
