Pet Supplies Plus seeks an Assistant Store Team Leader to drive neighbor-focused service and sales in our Newark, OH store. You will lead a capable team, model exceptional customer care, and coordinate with local groups to host events that introduce pets and families to our products.

You’ll promote a positive, knowledgeable environment, manage onboarding, and work to meet store goals while ensuring safety and compliance across the shop floor.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience leading a retail team.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Microsoft Office knowledge is a must.
• Ability to operate a forklift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedules and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the operational management of the stores.
• Adhere to policies on cleanliness, animal care, safety and security.
• Support team engagement and morale and help team members reach goals.
• Assist in maintaining a fully staffed team and onboarding.
• Provide onboarding and development opportunities, with coaching and feedback.
• Coordinate with community organizations for events and marketing.
