Job summary

XL Parts / The Parts House in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Supervisor to help expedite shipments and manage daily retail operations. You will oversee shipping/receiving, assemble customer orders within a 45-minute window, and conduct inventory cycles while ensuring a clean, safe environment.

You will also coordinate drivers, assist customers, handle cash deposits, and maintain front counter and store appearance.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of working in a retail environment.
• Motivated to provide superb customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving of merchandise.
• Assemble and fill customer orders within a 45-minute window.
• Perform inventory and cycle counts.
• Schedule contract drivers based on company needs.
• Answer customer questions and address complaints.
• Perform store opening and closing duties.
• Handle cash, cash counts, and deposits.
• Stock and pull parts.
• Answer phones.
• Keep store and front counter clean.
• Maintain a safe warehouse and work environment.
