Job summary

XL Parts / The Parts House is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Dallas to expedite shipments and oversee daily retail operations. You will manage shipping/receiving, fill customer orders within a 45-minute window, and maintain inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include scheduling drivers, addressing customer questions and complaints, opening/closing the store, handling cash, stocking parts, answering phones, and ensuring a clean, safe workspace for staff and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• 1–2 years of working in a retail environment.
• Highly motivated to provide superb customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving of merchandise.
• Assemble and fill customer orders to be delivered within a 45-minute window.
• Inventory and cycle counts.
• Schedules contract drivers based on company business needs.
• Answers customer questions and addresses complaints.
• Store opening and closing duties.
• Handles cash, cash counts, and deposits.
• Stocks and pulls parts.
• Answers phones.
• Keeps store and front counter clean.
• Keeps warehouse clean and provides a safe work environment.
