Job summary

Sunglass Hut, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Assistant Manager I to join a dynamic leadership team in our Bethesda, MD area store. You will partner with the Store/Multi Store Manager to supervise daily operations, coach associates, drive sales, merchandise the floor, and recruit talent to maintain exceptional customer experiences.

You will spend most of your time on the sales floor, uphold brand standards, develop customer relationships, and translate promotions into high-quality service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in retail or similar role.
• Detail-oriented and able to execute store operations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plan and develop associates using company tools.
• Use reporting tools and business acumen to identify gaps and capitalize on successes.
• Provide ongoing coaching to associates for growth.
• Acquire talent via networking and interviewing with Store/Multi Store Manager.
• Pursue self-development per development plan.
• Spend majority of time on the sales floor.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships using company tools.
• Consistently execute brand standards.
• Maintain store merchandising standards and updates.
• Know product knowledge and stay current on new products.
• Ensure execution of operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure clear communication of brand strategy, promotions, incentives, etc.
